Lisa is dedicated to helping individuals navigate life's challenges. She is passionate about supporting people and whānau as they work through big, overwhelming emotions and tackle intrusive negative thoughts. Her practice offers a warm, non-judgemental space where clients can truly be themselves.

Lisa works with clients from mid-teens to older adults, addressing issues such as depression, anxiety, adjustment, couples therapy, trauma, pain psychology, and anger issues. She holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology (PGDipPsych Clin) from the University of Waikato and is an ACC registered provider under the Sensitive Claims contract. Lisa brings a wealth of experience and training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and other trauma-informed modalities.

She has also worked for Youth Horizons Tauranga, The Psychology Group in Hamilton, and QE Health a Chronic Pain Management Centre. Lisa has experience working with people who have struggled with the psychological consequences of physical injury and chronic pain. She provides psychological support to the NZ Police and the NZ Fire Service. Additionally, she has worked with individuals with long-term medical conditions and offers support to young people through Gumboot Friday.

Lisa brings a holistic approach to therapy and has a special interest in bringing cultural sensitivity to the therapy space, offering Te Ao Māori and Pasifika approaches when appropriate. She loves collaborating with her clients to achieve their goals, making each session a unique and personal journey. She aims to help create a more balanced and fulfilling life for everyone she works with.
