Mental Health Awareness Week

Kia ora,

As we welcome the arrival of spring, we are reminded of the beauty of new beginnings. It's a wonderful time to pause and reflect on our mental health and wellbeing, ensuring that we nurture ourselves as we transition into this vibrant season. With Mental Health Awareness Week just around the corner, let's embrace the opportunity to focus on self-care, connection, and the importance of supporting one another on our mental health journeys.

Mental Health Foundation is the driving force behind Mental Health Awareness Week - an annual event promoting mental health and wellbeing since 1993.

Community is... what we create together. This years theme is about encouraging Aotearoa to build, connect and celebrate our communities as well as reminding us to prioritise our mental health and wellbeing beyond the week.

Taking care of your mind is one of the most important things you can do — not just for yourself but also for your loved ones and the wider community. Yet, knowing where to start can sometimes feel overwhelming, given the complexities of life and the mind.

That’s where we come in. The Psychology Group is here to support you on your journey to mental wellbeing. Follow us on social media for #mhaw daily tips. From building connections and practising reflection to sharing gratitude and Aroha, we’ll guide you through essential conversations that matter.

As we celebrate Mental Health Awareness Week, we wish you a week filled with Aroha, connection, and meaningful moments.

Let’s prioritise our mental health together.
